Get to know Secretarhe's Adam Philpott


I was born in California to two English parents, and decided to try out the UK nearly 10 years ago. It took me the ride home from the airport to decide I was home. And once I arrived in Bristol five years later, I knew I'd found family as well as home.

I've been working as a secretary / administrator for almost 11 years now, first with an A&E in America and then throughout the NHS after I moved to the UK. With lives on the line, I very quickly learned how to keep both myself and my department organised.

I came out of the closet when I was 18 and have lived life an open book since! It's given me an appreciation and insight into life and other people that brings me a sense of joy and love I try to bring to everyone else I come across.
